Lawrence Heritage is encouraging families to bring along their canine friends for this much loved novelty dog show, with awards including the waggiest tail, best mover and child handling. Prizes to 10th place with a Gold, Silver and Bronze for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed winner. There will be prizes for all children and plenty of extras for dogs, as well as stalls and on-site refreshments from The Colliery Bistro.

Big Band for local singers! Inspired by Michael Buble and Robbie Williams, singers from around Nottingham are about to start rehearsals in Lenton for a concert where they will join forces with other choirs at The Town Hall in Birmingham in the summer.  The concert is entitled ‘Back to Big Band’.
