Sep Date not yet known Sponsored Walk/Ride All Annual Sponsored Ride and Stride, organised by the Nottinghamshire Historic Churches Trust to help raise money for Nottinghamshire’s old churches and chapels. The event is for both cyclists and walkers with riders and walkers being sponsored according to how many churches they visit. They are offered refreshments at each venue they visit and some of the churches hold open days to coincide with the event. Sep 1 Activity Adult Bodging for the Garden at Sherwood Pines- dibbers and hurdles. 9:30 - 5pm. Join the Jolly Bodgers of Sherwood for a day in the woods learning traditional green-wood working skills. Have a go using a pole lathe and a shave horse to create your own garden dibber, hazel hurdle and plant support. £45. Adults only. Sep 8 Film Families Free "Film Club" for children aged 3+ at St Alban's, Clipstone Road West, Forest Town NG19 0EP. Bring your own snacks and drinks for the film, and adults who stay with their children receive a free 'cuppa'.
