WHAT IS A DIRECTORY LISTING
Directory listings consist of blocks of 5 lines, each line having up to 50 characters (counting spaces and punctuation). These can be placed either on our web directory only (all ages) or also in our printed directory "What's the Buzz" which caters for 0-16 year olds in the South Notts area. Back to top

WILL YOUR LISTINGS BE FREE OF CHARGE?
Not-for-profit organisations within a Buzz directory area can have a free block under any appropriate heading. This includes leisure centres, community centres, council-run activities etc

Please don't overload us:-
- only one free block per heading (eg If you run a hockey club with sessions for three different age groups, each session cannot have a separate free block)
- only one free block per activity For example, you can't include your hockey club under Hockey and also in After-school clubs free of charge (but you could pay for the second listing).
However, if your organisation provides hockey sessions AND football sessions, you can have a free block under each of these headings Back to top

SO WHEN MIGHT YOU WANT TO PAY FOR A LISTING?
You may want to pay for a listing if
- you run as a business
- you want to include a listing in a directory outside your area
- you want extra blocks to provide more detail or to be included under several headings

A block on the web directory (with a link to your website) costs £3 a year.
To appear in print as well as on the web directory costs £6 a year (in total - not extra!).

Once inserted, the listing can be amended as required during the period for which it is inserted at no further cost and changes will be reflected in the following issue / website update.

Don't worry! If we think you need to pay, we'll let you know before we place the listing so you will not commit yourself to any payment you do not want.

NEW FOR 2010 - We will add one free block with a link to your site in exchange for a link from your website to the page of our choice. Just email us if you are interested. Back to top

HOW TO PLACE A LISTING

Just email office@buzzguides.co.uk with
- the wording you would like to be published,
- the page/heading you want it to appear under (eg. Derby Drama)
- your contact details (or account number if you already have one)
- the web address you would like us to link the entry to (if you have one - this may be a website address, a facebook page or similar)
- let us know if you think this should be a free entry.

If we are happy that you are entitled to a free listing, we will add the listing to our database and website and email back a link to let you know it's there.

If we think you should pay, we will we will add the information to our database (not published) and send you a listing number. Just click below on either Web only (£3) or Web & Mag (£6), entering your listing number. On receipt of payment,we will add your listing to the website (and magazine where required)

We are happy to send you a invoice receipted invoice on request.

If you decide not to proceed, we may contact you two-three times a year to see if you are still interested until you tell us to remove you from our records.. Back to top

HOW TO PAY FOR A LISTING
Check above to see if you need to pay for your listing. More listings are free than not!

You are very welcome to make payments by cheque payable to Buzz Guides at the address shown in the "Contact Us" page. We will send an invoice before or after you pay if asked. Just let us know.
We're not a big, scary company and nothing is automated so you can talk to us about what you need!

However, we are increasingly being asked if we take payments by debit/credit card or paypal.

To pay for a listing on our website only, £3 per block of 5 lines per year - Change the quantity as required.	Enter Listing Number if known

AMENDING OR RENEWING A LISTING
To amend a listing, all you need to do is email us with the listing number (if you have it) and details of the changes you want to make. We'll do the rest. It will often be updated on the website on the same day. For the magazine, provided the amendments are received by the closing date, the changes will be reflected in the next issue (click here for dates)

We ask you to renew listings once a year so we publish up-to-date information.
We will email when you are due for renewal (or write if we don't have an email contact). Please keep us informed of changes in contact details.
If it's a free listing, just email us to say your listing hasn't changed.

To delete a listing, again just let us know. You may want to delete:-
- your personal details if you are no longer the contact for an organsition (but keep the organisation listing)
-a listing but keep your personal details on file
-delete both
All emails/texts are read by a human being! - there is no official format you have to use. Just explain what you want to do..
Trying to contact organisations who don't respond and aren't interested is as much of a nuisance and time-waster to us as it is to you. We DO delete when asked!
